“Here at the Physical Planning Unit of Bayero University Kano, we aim to ensure the vision of the university of being among the premier educational institutions globally by providing and executing infrastructural projects of industrial repute and world-class standard.”
The unit evolved from the former PPD&MS (Physical Planning development & Maintenance services) overseeing all aspects of physical and maintenance development to the PPU (Physical Planning Unit) focused primarily on physical development in 2012 as a result of a resolution by the University council to provide a more efficient service delivery. The Physical Planning Unit is saddled with the responsibility of designing and providing all physical structures of the University. These range from planning, designing, supervision and execution of the projects to a successful completion.
